A scholar was teaching how the universe began,
Said it all started with an explosion
He talked as if this theory were a fact
And Divine Design he harshly attacked
It all began as nothing, he did expound
With dark matter , and black holes, though no proof had been found
He contradicted thermodynamics and relativity
But he told his stories with much creativity

Prophets said this would come one day
When Godless men would be lead astray
By The Ever learning and never able,
To know the truth so they turn to fables
With teachers Who teach the lusts of men
cause they can’t endure sound doctrine
I don’t have a degree in astronomy
But I’ve prayed under the stars and God answered me,

My roommate told me bout evolution
As if it were fact and had been proven
But He only had drawings to back up his claim
To show the transitions that he did explain
And How did life begin ? He tried to say
It was natural generation in a slower way
That if conditions were right, life could begin
Though in laboratories it had not happened

Stating the miracles of Jesus didn't happen long ago
You can't walk on water, or turn it into wine
And no one has gained sight who was born blind
He wasn’t able to raise someone from the dead
He couldn't feed 5 thousand with a few loaves of bread
He went on and on stating ideas like these
I thought with friends like this who needs enemies !
