Lyrics

The king told his subjects to kneel Upon the ground

Before his gold statue

When they heard the musics sound

But three wise men

Were brought to him bound

Because they defied the king

by not kneeling down.

In his rage the King

Screamed, is this true?

That ye won’t bow down to

my gold statue?

Now worship or this furnace

you’ll be thrown into

And who is that God

that shall rescue you?

Ooh, ooh, ooh,ooh

Oh King we’ve always ,obeyed thy demands

But this thing we cannot do , as thou commands

Let it be known Oh King,

If needed our God, who is true,

He Can save us from the fire

and come to our rescue

Chorus,

But if not, … we won’t bow down to thy statue oh King

But if not ,… we won’t serve thy Gods by worshiping

But if not … we’ll put our trust in God till the end

But if not… we’ll praise His name and dwell with him

But if not

But if not
ooh,ooh, ooh,ooh aah

Verse,

The furnace was heated more than it had ever been

Then the angry king had these men thrown in

When they cast them in, they fell down

then they arose and started walking around

The King was troubled as he gazed through the door

Then cried, we threw three men in. Why do I see four?

And the fourth one looks like, the Son of God

When the three came out safely, all were awed

Ah aah aah aah

Bridge,

The king said, Blessed be these men, that didn't do as I demand

But instead obeyed God, and followed His command

Let it be known, oh my people, by

Royal decree

That no one speak against their God , for He is almighty

They said

Chorus

But if not, … we won’t bow down to thy statue oh King

But if not ,… we won’t serve thy Gods by worshiping

But if not … we’ll put our trust in God till the end

But if not… we’ll praise His name and dwell with him

But if not

But if not

Verse

I learn from this story that life is a test

Will we follow God's path or the one that’s easiest

faith is believing that God is there

And He can help you through hard times, when life's unfair

Facing great challenges can make great men

But the greatest blessings , Jesus won by suffering

So Trust in His power for all things, He can do

And believe He knows and wants what’s best for you

Oh Father help me do , what thy demand

Help me not to shrink from keeping thy command

Oh Lord if it's thy will, remove this cup from me

But thy will be done, I'll do it for Thee

"i'll say

Chorus

But if not, … I won’t bow down to a worldly King

But if not ,… I won’t serve evil for anything

But if not … I’ll trust in God till the very end

But if not… I’ll praise His name and go dwell with him

But if not

But if not
